News! I Have News!

I have 2 very exciting things to share with you all today. 🙂

First of all, I know I have a separate blog for my running (although I am considering moving some stuff over here), but I’m too excited not to share with you all!  I decided to start running in January, and yesterday I actually officially registered for my very first 5K race!  This race is going to take place on April 3, in Ajax ON right by Lake Ontario.  This is actually real now!  As soon as I registered I got the nervous butterflies, but I know I’ll be ok.  If any runners are reading this – any tips for my first race?

Second piece of news – C GOT A JOB!!!!!  His 3 years of school has paid off!  He only graduates in June, but as of Friday he will have completed his required internship.  Yesterday he had a meeting with his current employers and they have hired him on!  The best part about it is that they’re still going to cover his commuting costs!  So starting Monday, he will basically be getting paid to go to work! … ok I lied, the actual best part about this – now that he has a job, it won’t be long until he will FINALLY be able to move in!
